locations for vending machines
When you are just getting started in the vending business and if you do not have a bunch of cash flow you might want to start with some basic strategies like cold calling for example. Now sure it’s really not a dazzling way to broaden your business but it does work.
So here are a few things that you can do to get going with cold calling.
just prepare yourself by having a business card or at the very least a one page simple flyer.
With a business card just have some basic information on it about your service and your contact information.
If you decide to use a one page flyer then this method will allow you to have more information on it. Here are a few things that you can put on your flyer.
Vending services available to your business. We provide full service vending, fresh products and have excellent quality vending machines. We will allow you to use our vending machines for free and we restock our vending machines on a regular basis. Please call and then put in your phone number.
That’s it. Keep it easy and simple! Very short and not to complicated. The goal here is to just get your message across quickly and without delay. We want them to contact us so we can get our machines into their location.
Then take your flyer to as many local businesses in your area and blast away asking questions about any vending service providers that the local businesses are using. This is a great way for you to do some constructive research and homework while scouting out locations.
You would be floored at how much information you can get by just asking questions to the employees at each location. You can find out what kind of machines the have, pricing, service and many other things as well.
I would move forward in this manner until you have a few locations under your belt then look at re- investing some of your earning s and then expand your business by using some advertising as well.
When looking to advertise just be careful how and where you spend your hard earned cash. You want to be sure that you are getting a good return on your investment and a good return means leads and locations. So choose wisely.
You need leads and people calling you period. Then it is up to you to do the rest and close the deal on the location. So get your cards in order and the first step to do that is to learn as much as you can about the vending business. This will help you in all aspects of your business and most importantly keep your hard earned cash in your pocket.
At the end of the day this is in my personally opinion the best way to get going especially on a low budget. I have been a vending business operator for over ten years now
and I know this works. Just remember as long as there are local businesses in your area there are always going to be people who need help.
